A psychological horror-thriller exploring human illusion (motibhrom), speed, guilt, and the spectral twilight between sanity and supernatural folklore along deserted midnight highways.
Key Cast
Directing with an editor's mind means every shot is visualized as an integral gear in an emotional machine. No wasted frames, no superfluous coverage—only deliberate camera geometry, expressive high-contrast lighting, and pulse-driven narrative pacing.

Specialized execution of high-speed vehicular action, precision motorcycle chases, and visceral physical combat sequences built for seamless post-production assembly.

Multi-cam offline assembly, complex non-linear narrative cross-cutting, and rhythm sculpting that commands audience attention across 150-minute theatrical runtimes.
High-contrast monochrome, moody neo-noir cyan-and-amber splits, and ACES-calibrated master grading utilizing DaVinci Resolve Studio.
Multi-channel 5.1/7.1 surround sound design supervision, tactile foley editing, and industrial-synth psychoacoustic score alignment.
Dual-role body double VFX conform (as in Toofan), digital cleanup, multi-platform master encoding for Hoichoi, Chorki, Binge, and DCI-compliant Theatrical DCPs.
Redefining the standard for OTT and theatrical post-production.
Shaping the pacing and visual tone of record-breaking cultural streaming hits across South Asia.
Managing massive multi-camera setups, dual-role VFX splits, and high-frame-rate action sequences.
Setting the visual atmosphere with distinct, mood-driven cinematic color palettes and ACES color science.

With over a decade of continuous mastery in the media and entertainment industry, Jobayar Abir Peal (widely known across the industry as mrpeal or JAP) specializes in bringing uncompromising cinematic visions from raw rushes to world-class master delivery. As a director, lead editor, and the founder of JAP Studios, my work spans the entire spectrum of visual storytelling—from the visceral tension choreographing a night car chase on set to the razor-thin micro-cuts inside the editing bay.
I have had the honor of shaping some of the most culturally impactful and commercially historic projects in modern Bangladeshi cinema and streaming. As chief editor and post-production supervisor, I’ve architected the pacing, psychological tension, and visual tone of epochal OTT sagas including Mohanagar 2, Syndicate, August 14, and Ami Ki Tumi, as well as landmark theatrical box-office blockbusters like Toofan (50+ Crore BDT historic gross) and Surongo.
“The edit dictates the rhythm, the color dictates the mood, and the raw truth of the story dictates everything.”
Whether I am in the director's chair conceiving high-concept thrillers like Lal Pori & The Red Car or harmonizing massive multi-camera timeline confforms, my objective remains absolute: visceral immersion, dramatic weight, and rhythm that leaves an indelible imprint on the viewer.
